Rick Riordan how I love thee!

I have to say I LOVE Rick Riordan! All of his books are so AWESOME! I have read all of the Percy Jackson books and they are amazing I was hooked the moment I started reading them, I would say I have read them a million times over again. If you haven't read The Lightning Thief because you thought it was just going to be a cheesy kids book, I am here to tell you kids book or not it was amazing. You are taken in to this world of gods and demigods and of course evil is right around the corner.It is so cool to see and read more in to detail about gods like Poseidon and Zeus and what happens to there children( they aren't suppose to have) with the challenges of growing up not sure whats going on with themselves but all of the children bound together to fight of crazy demon and all the things that go bump in the night. I think it was an amazing series and if you haven't read it for what ever reason I definitely think you should check it out!

Now when I found out there were more of the demigod series I was hesitant because when you love one character so much you don't really want to read the spin offs, the before or after of the books. But everyone I know has been pushing me to read them, so this week we have started the Heroes of Olympus series and let me tell you it is wonderful! Book one is The Lost Hero, I was very excited to read that we still had a bunch of the same characters for the Percy Jackson series. 

**SPOIL ALERT***

In this series you get new main guy Jason who has lost his memory and finds himself and two friends, who are also demigods, getting saved by our favorite warrior demigod Annabeth. They all make it to Camp Half Blood to find out new interesting things about our three new stars. Jason, Son of Zeus needs his memory back and to do that he must go save a goddess. Leo, son of Hephaestus is trying to understand everything that is going on and keeping a secretes of his own. and last but not least we have Piper, daughter of Aphrodite has a whole bunch of craziness to deal with. Her dad was kidnapped, creepy Giants are voices in her head telling to turn betray her new friends or her dad will die! AHHH! But of course I have saved the best for last when it comes to spoil alerts 

PERCY JACKSON IS MISSING! 

WHAAAAA I didn't even know what to do with myself. I was like NOOOOOOOOOO! If you haven't read the book you just have to dive in! The ended of course left me with a HUGE cliff hanger you know how I feel about those, but it had a great twist and now I have to get book two so I can see if we save Percy!!

Books Books and More Books!!!

So I am so wrapped up in so many book series right now I'm not even sure where to start. I love books so much I feel I have left so many great books behind, so I went back to a few of my favorites that I haven't finished. 

So the first series I am finishing, which I am sad to say I'm on the last book and I wish it wasn't ending but every good story must come to an end. The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare is one of my favorites but I have never made it to the end, which I think is because I didn't want it to end. But today is the day! I am picking up The City of Heavenly Fire today from the library. So far the series has been a lot of fun to read even though I feel like Jace,one of the main characters, has had some crazy problems through out the series and I cant wait to see what happens in the last book. I am really hoping that him and Clare can finally be together with out some crazy cliff hanger to keep me guessing, But since it is the last book you never know what is actually going to happen. I CAN'T WAIT! 

The next series I am reading is The Dark Elements series by Jennifer L Armentrout. This series is a great one. It has all the great features for all of us supernatural lovers. When I came a cross her first book in this series (White Hot Kiss) I thought it was going to be a romance novel, you know the ones that we all secretly love but we don't tell anyone. (you know what I'm talking about) Then I remembered I was in the Young Adult section, so I looked it over and found out its about Gargoyles and hot demons and said well I'M IN! I took it home and within the first few chapters I was HOOKED! When I finished the book I was in a dying need for book two. Little did I know that the book hadn't come out yet... I hate when that happens.. So as the months went on I forgot all about it until one day I was in the library and what do I find! Book two Stone Cold Touch, So I raced home and devoured it in one sitting just to be sad once again with cliff hangers... Book three doesn't come out till June 2015.. For those of you that have never looked in to the series I would highly recommend it! It has twists and turns like you wouldn't believe! I think it is one of my favorite Young Adult series!

Now to take us away from the Young Adult books I have stumbled on to a novel that I like to categorize as a slutty romance novel. We all secretly love them, well I'm not very secrete about it everyone knows I love a good trashy novel. Anyways, I found this book called This Man by Jodi Ellen Malpas. Now I'm not one of those girls who liked the 50 shades of gray books. When I saw the cover of this book I thought it was going to be just like that. But I thought who knows it could be a really good book. I started reading it and don't get me wrong it was totally made me feel like I was reading the 50 shades, but I couldn't put it down. I kept telling myself if I turn the page and there is a red room of pain I am so out! But it never happened. It turned out to be a really trashy slutty novel which I loved and I cant wait to read book two. SO if your in to trashy romance novels you might want to check this one out. It has mystery hot guy in it with a hint of lust and dirty talk. Over all I think it is a good book. 

Now before I leave you with those wonderful books I have a few other suggestions when it comes to romance novels. Rachel Gibson is one of my all time favorites! If you are looking for more of a sadish romance you can always rely on Nicolas Sparks for that(which make me cry every time but I love them.)
